5 Things We’re Looking forward to at #18NTC

We have a large Firefly contingent heading to the Nonprofit Technology Conference (#18NTC) in New Orleans next week, ready to meet new people and visit with long-time clients and partners. But maybe the most exciting thing about NTC for each of us is seeing how technology is furthering the important missions of so many nonprofits across the country.

The NTC agenda is packed full of interesting sessions, but here are five than we absolutely will not miss.

  1. Integrating Your WordPress Website with Your SalesForce CRM
Tuesday, April 10th @ 11:15am as part of WordPress Day
Our very own Nate Allen and Colleen Campbell share how to turn your WordPress site into a powerful tool that enhances your Salesforce data and expands what you know about your constituents, including how to use custom integrations to support beautiful user experiences while saving you time and energy. We’ll share examples that showcase events, custom user account creation, volunteer management, and interactive maps.
  2. Working Virtual: Attracting and Managing the Best Talent
    Wednesday, April 11 @ 10:30am, Room 350
Our friend Alice Hendricks of Jackson River will be sharing her experience and lessons learned around building a high-performance remote work culture.
  3. Website Accessibility Is a Social Justice Issue
    Thursday, April 12 @ 1:30pm, Room 353
Johanna Bates of DevCollaborative is one of our favorite nonprofit tech leaders. Her recommendations for how to build an inclusive web should be heard by all.
  4. Identify, Activate, and Build Your Community through Peer-To-Peer
    Thursday, April 12 @ 1:30pm, Room 343
Taylor Shanklin, Vice President of Product Marketing and Strategy at Pursuant, has been the voice of successful peer-to-peer marketing campaigns for more than a decade. When she speaks, we listen.
  5. Courageous or Cautious? Establishing Your Nonprofit’s Brand Personality
    Friday, April 13 @ 10:30am, Room 260
If you’re a nonprofit organization looking to establish your unique brand and message, then you should probably call Farra Trompeter at Big Duck. Can’t wait to hear her guidance on finding and strengthening the voice that can set an organization apart.

If you’re going to be at NTC in New Orleans, you can find the Firefly team at Booth 312 in the Exhibit Hall. Come by and say hello, or get in touch to schedule a time to chat. See you there!
