Ashe joined Firefly in 2023 with a passion for inclusion and accessibility and a long history of creating custom, easy-to-use WordPress themes from scratch. A designer and front-end web developer for nearly two decades, Ashe has extensive experience contributing to all phases of the website life cycle — like discovery, strategy, user experience, design and development — and has worked with many nonprofits and associations. They hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a nanodegree in React from Udacity and a diploma in Massage Therapy from the Body Therapy Institute. Ashe lives in Maryland, just outside Washington, DC, with their husband and beloved senior rescue dog.
