Over the past 40 years, The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center (The Center) has grown to meet the changing needs of New York's LGBTQ+ community, delivering services that empower people to lead healthy and successful lives. The Center’s existing website posed challenges with its labyrinthine navigation, hindering their ability to effectively showcase their myriad of services and events. The new website needed to prioritize user experience and cater to the diverse needs of potential and current program participants, donors, and partners alike.

With a keen focus on striking visuals and user-centric design, we transformed the Center’s website into a dynamic platform. The Center’s digital home amplifies awareness of their vital services and resources, and fosters deeper connections within the queer community.

Drawing inspiration from its vibrant identity, the website’s visual design unfolded as a modern canvas, accentuating the organization’s essence with a refined color palette and contemporary interface. Testimonials, alongside community-provided photos and narratives, take center stage, amplifying The Center’s dedication to nurturing safe and inclusive spaces.
Navigating paths of support
At the heart of the website redesign was a commitment to embody The Center’s community-centric ethos. The result? A seamless navigation experience and SEO and content strategy focused on comprehensive descriptions of services and clear pathways for community members seeking support for substance abuse and mental health.
